Chipotle Wardour London

If you read my Lola's Cupcake post, you would know i visited London on Tuesday with my Family. Whilst in London,we decided to check out the Wardour Chipotle. I had some Vouchers to use which were kindly sent to me.

If you don't know what Chipotle is...it is a Mexican Grill. Their Menu is very simple but doesn't disappoint on flavour & chilled atmosphere.

Chipotle is Famous for its Foil wrapped, hand crafted Food, which is sourced from local Farms!

You can pick & choose what you would like in your Meal. 

The Staff were extremely helpful & friendly, & helped me choose the most Tasty Vegan Option.

The lovely man who took our order was very helpful & assisted me to find the best Vegan Option.
I have only visited the Wardour Chipotle, but from my experience its always been pleasurable, chilled & with a nice atmosphere. Chipotle has a modern interior & is very clean(which is what you want in a Restaurant)

I really liked the fact that they openly advertise that they offer food with Integrity. 
It advertises on a board above the Counter-
''We Serve ingredients raised with respect for Animals, farmers & the Environment''

''Vegetables are Grown in Healthy Soil. With every Burrito we roll or Bowl we fill, we're working to cultivate a better world''

It talks about Meat, but as i am Vegan, i am more interested in the Vegan food they offer.

They keep all of the Meat away from the Vegan options & they also use Gloves!


Its only a 5 minute walk from Oxford street, so its the perfect stop off for a Shopping Break. 

Chipotle CAN make your Order Vegan, by not adding the Cheese, Meats, Sour Creams...

As stated on their Website- 
''We do NOT use Eggs, Mustard, Peanuts, Tree Nuts, Sesame, Shellfish or Fish as Ingredients in our Food''

Gluten Intollerence & Coeliac Disease infomation-
''If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field''

Vegan & Vegetarian Information- 
''Our Sofritas is vegan and vegetarian approved. Vegans should avoid our meats, cheese, sour cream and our chipotle-honey vinaigrette. Our tortillas, vegetables, rice, beans, salsas, chips and guacamole, are vegetarian and vegan. If you eat dairy, our cheese is made with vegetable-based rennet and our sour cream is 100% cultured cream''

I ordered a Vegan Burrito. 
A Flour Tortilla which contained Fajita Vegetables (Mixed Onions & Peppers seasoned with Oregano), Wholegrain Coriander & Lime Rice, Mild Tomato Salsa, Black Beans & Crisp Romain Lettuce. 
This Burrito was Mild in spice (but if you wanted it hotter there is a selection of different heat Salsas).

Start off you Order by Choosing one of the Following-

Burrito-

Burrito Bowl-

Taco-

Salad Bowl-
A bed of Romaine Lettuce with a choice of Pinto Beans or Black Beans,  Guacamole & Salsa.

-Tortilla Chips
Tortilla chips are made fresh every day, with a squeeze of real lime and kosher salt. Guacamole is made from ripe Hass avocados, hand mashed up to three times a day.

Ingredients (VEGAN OPTIONS)

Rice-

Steamed white or Brown Rice seasoned with fresh Coriander and a squeeze of juicy/zesty Lime.

Fajita Vegetables-

Lightly caramelised Bell Peppers and Onions, seasoned with fresh Oregano.

Pinto or Black Beans-

Seasoned with chipotle chili, Garlic, toasted Cumin, and Oregano. Black Beans seasoned with chipotle Chili, garlic, toasted Cumin, and Oregano.

Lettuce-

Fresh crisp Romaine Lettuce.

Guacamole-

Ripe Avocados mashed with Red Onions, Jalapeños, fresh Coriander, and Citrus.

Salsa's-

Tomato Salsa (Mild)- Chopped red, ripe sweet Tomatoes, mixed with Red Onions, Jalapeño Peppers and freshly chopped Coriander for a mildly tangy, refreshing taste.

Roasted Chilli Corn Salsa(Medium)-
 Sweet white Corn with roasted Poblanos, Jalapeños, Red Onions, fresh Coriander, and Citrus.

Tomatillos Green Chilli Salsa (Medium)- 
Fire-roasted Tomatillos, Tomatoes and Jalapeños with Red Onions, fresh Herbs, and toasted Cumin.

Tomatillo-Red Chilli Salsa (HOT)- 
Purée of Chile de Arbol, Tomatillos & Spices.

As always (like any Restaurant)...its worth asking and checking for yourself at the Restaurant. The staff will help/advise you to find your perfect Mexican Feast!

Chipotle is an American Based Mexican Grill & operate over 1,000 Restaurants throughout the US. Far too many for me to write out.

I hope i have helped you find a new place to eat! Chipotle is one of my favourite Fast Food Restaurants as the food is always good, and the environment is chilled and relaxed! just the way you want to sit and enjoy your meal!
