Lush Holly Golightly Bubble Bar inspired Mince Pies

Warm, Spice and all things Nice!
Vegan, Dairy-free,Gluten-free, Wheat-free, Egg-free

What do you think of when you think of Christmas? I am sure Mince Pies comes to mind!!!
The Holly Golightly Bubble Bar has a distinct Cinnamon/Spice Scent that reminds me of Christmas Puddings and Mince Pies, and with its Circular Shape, i thought a Mince Pie would be a great base to replicate this gorgeous Bubble Bar.
The Holly Golightly Bubble Bar is 100% Natural and contains Persian Lime & Sweet Orange Oil (which is uplifting, Protecting and Refreshing), Patchouli Oil (which has an Exotic, earthy Aroma) and Clove Leaf Oil (which is Warming & Stimulating). All of these are great for your Skin.
It also contains Organic Illipe Butter, which softens the Skin.
As this Bubble Bar contains Spicy Cinnamon Leaf and Patchouli essential Oil, it leaves you feeling, cosy, relaxed and Christmassy.
To use, all you need to do is crumble the bubble Bar under running water and watch your bath turn a Beautiful Dark Green (It looks like the Grinch has had a sneaky Soak) :P

This Mince Pie recipe is very simple, quick and easy to make...and i really enjoyed making some tasty & Festive Pies.
The Pastry is crumbly with a light Citrus/Lemon Flavour, paired with the Mince Meat is mouthwatering.
This recipe makes approximately 8 Mince Pies.

...
Ingredients-
-80grams of Gluten-free Flour
-75grams of Rice Flour
-70grams of Vegan Margarine/Butter ( I used Soya)
-2 Tablespoons of Icing Sugar/Powdered Sugar
-1/2 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
-1 Lemon Zest (Unwaxed & Grated)
-Vegan Mincemeat (Homemade or Pre-made)
...
Lets get baking....

Step 1- Sieve the Flours & Icing Sugar into a Large Mixing bowl and with clean hands, gently run the Margarine into the Flour until it makes fine Breadcrumbs.

Step 2- Mix in the Vanilla Extract and Lemon Zest, then add in 2 Tablespoons of cold Water and mix together until the mixture forms a Dough.

Step 3- Wrap the Dough in Cling Film and place into the Fridge for 30 minutes.

Step 4- Whilst the Dough is in the Fridge, grease your Mince Pie tins with some Margarine or a light spray of Oil.

Step 5- After 30 minutes, take the Dough out of the Fridge and Flour your Surface. Begin to gently Roll out the Dough until its around 1/2 to 1cm thick.

Step 6- Use a Circular Cutter to cut out the Base of the Mince Pies ( I used a Glass Coffee Cup as it was the perfect size for my Tins) and a smaller Cutter for the Lid.

Step 7- Press the Circular Doughs into the Greased Tins, making sure to get into the edges and fill the Pie with your Mincemeat. Lightly Glaze the edges of your lid and press onto the Mince to seal them.

Step 8- Pop the Mince Pies in the Centre of the Oven at 180degrees and bake for around 15-20 minutes until Golden Brown.

Step 9- When all of the Mince Pies look Golden & smell irresistible, carefully remove them from the Oven and place them onto a cooling rack.

Once cooled, you can decorate them with a dusting of Icing Sugar, or a glaze of Lemon Icing.

To replicate the Holly Golightly Bubble Bar, i sprayed the Mince Pies with an Edible Silver Glitter Spray and made some Holly leaves out of Green Fondant and placed some Dried Cranberries ontop to replicate the Berries of the Holly Leaf.
These Mince Pies are extremely cute and would be great served up at a Christmas Party, a Festive Gathering or a Sweet and attractive snack! They taste even better with some Dairy-free ice-cream or Custard! yummy
