The Birdies - A Family Affair
Hello everyone,
I wanted to share with you an Art Journal spread I did a while ago, in one of our AJ lessons at Scraps n Pieces studio with my amazing teacher Myrto Panayiotopoulou.
It measures 18” x 11 1/2 “.

The theme is a family scene. These are The Birdies, father, mother and two offsprings.
Obviously the youngest has done something unacceptable and the whole family are telling him off!
What I loved about it was the steps we followed by creating a chaotic background at the beginning and finally ending up with a very clear image!
We used all kinds of paints:
Neocolors II, Decoart Acrylics, alcohol markers, acrylic paint markers and also did some paper collage to create more texture.
I really loved that lesson and of course I was super excited with how beautiful the spread turned to be.
