Easy vegan scones recipe | Ft Natures Charm

Vegan, quick, easy, 2 ingredients.

Say hello to the quickest, easiest and most delicious vegan scones.
These scones contain only 2 ingredients, making them really simple and quick, perfect for breakfast!

I use gluten-free flour in this recipe so everyone can enjoy, along with coconut milk from Natures Charm.
Natures Charm evaporated coconut milk is perfect for this recipe and gives a really subtly coconutty flavour which is delicious!

These scones, paired with jam and dairy-free cream are mouth-wateringly good! A must bake! 

Preparation- 5 minutes

Baking time- 15-20 minutes
Makes- 6-7
Level- easy

Ingredients
-260g of self-raising flour (I use gluten-free)
-1 can of coconut milk (I use Natures Charm)
+
-Vegan cream
-Berry Jam
-Fresh berries
...

Step 1- Pre-heat your oven to 220 degrees c and line a baking tray with grease proof paper.

Step 2- Sift the flour into a bowl, add in the coconut milk and mix.
Step 3- Add in your berries of choice and fold in.

Step 4- Flour your worktop and gently fold the dough until its no longer sticky.
Don't over mix or the dough will become tough!
Step 5- Form the dough into a circle and using a pizza cutter or knife, cut into triangles.
It should be around an inch thick. (Photo above)

Step 6- Separate the scones and brush over some more of the coconut milk!
Step 7- Pop the scones onto the lined baking tray and pop into the oven and bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown.

Enjoy warm and serve with vegan jam and dairy-free cream! 
I use 'Schlagfix' squirty cream, but you could also use whipped coconut cream.

Store in a sealed container but best enjoyed day of making!
