Easy 'Nutella' brownies recipe
Vegan, gluten-free, wheat-free, quick & easy.
Imagine curling up under a big, fluffy blanket, with a warm drink and a divine gooey rich 'Nutella' brownie? Sounds lush doesn't it?!
These brownies are moist, rich, chocolaty, filled with vegan 'Nutella', topped with a drizzle of melted 'Nutella' chopped hazelnuts, a dusting of icing sugar served with coconut cream.
There are plenty of vegan 'Nutella' available to buy in the supermarkets, online etc...
I chose to use Valsoia which tastes just like Nutella!!!

These brownies are quick & easy to make and are perfect warming dessert for autumn/winter.
You could fill them with roasted hazelnuts for added texture or leave them soft and gooey, perfect for decorating afterwards.
This recipe will sure have your guests craving more chocolaty goodness!
Preparation- 5 minutes
Baking time- 20-25 minutes
Serves- 10-15

Ingredients-
-200g of dairy-free dark chocolate
- 4 teaspoons of cocoa powder
-170g of self-raising flour (I use gluten-free flour)
- 110g of golden caster sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
-5 tablespoons of light olive oil
-260ml of dairy-free milk
-Vegan 'Nutella'
+
-Vegan 'Nutella'
-Hazelnuts
-Icing sugar

Step 1- Pre-heat your oven to 180 degrees, gas mark 4 and line a baking tin with greaseproof paper.
Step 2- Place the chocolate into a glass bowl and place on top of a saucepan with water filled 2/4 of the way up making a bain-marie. Gently simmer until the chocolate has completely melted & is gooey!
Step 3- Add the cocoa powder, flour and sugar into a large mixing bowl & stir together.
Step 4- Pour in the liquids, melted chocolate, vanilla essence, oil and dairy-free milk & mix until fully combined and smooth.
Step 5- Pour the brownie mixture into the lined baking tin and swirl over some vegan 'Nutella' (optional).
Step 6- Pop the brownie into the middle of oven and bake for 20-25 minutes.
To make sure the brownies are cooked, place a sharp knife or skewer into the centre until it comes out clean.
If they are not fully cooked, pop them in the oven for an extra few minutes.
Step 7- Once baked, carefully remove from the oven and place on a wire rack & leave to cool for around 10 minutes.
Slice the brownie into squares & serve with a drizzle of melted vegan 'Nutella', chopped hazelnuts and a light dusting of icing sugar.
You can serve them warm with coconut cream or some dairy-free vanilla ice-cream to make it even more indulgent!
Once cool, store in a sealed container.
