Potato Chip Cookies
Now here's an interesting recipe. I'm not really sure of the history of these but they date back to at least the 40's and probably before. They originated in the Baltimore area with the Hutzler's Department Stores where they were sold at the lunch counter and bakery.

1C Butter (2 sticks), softened
1/2C Sugar
1 1/2C Flour
1/2C Potato Chips, crushed
1tsp Vanilla
1 Egg Yolk
Powdered Sugar
Cream together butter and sugar in mixer. Add remaining ingredients (except powdered sugar) and beat together until well blended. Preheat oven to 350°, drop cookie dough by teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet and bake on center rack 15 mins. Cool on wire rack and while slightly warm dust liberally with powdered sugar.
