I had so much fun making this Cute Star Cake Pop inspired by the Lush Magic Wand. It was  a blast getting creative in the Kitchen, and using Sparkly Glitter & pink Fondant...whats not to love?!!I think it looks amazing next to the Real Lush product. I made the Star using Wheat/Dairy-free Ingredients with a Pre-made Fondant Icing and gave it some Shimmer using the My Cake Decor Luster Spray in Silver! This stuff is honestly amazing for Baking!!!The Cake itself is very Rich and Spongy. Paired With Strawberry Jam...its Devine! This Cake Pop very effective would be perfect served at a Christmas Party or as a gift for a Lush Lover!
...
Ingredients-
-1 Cups of Gluten-free Self raising Flour (I used Doves Farm)
-1/2 Cup of Cocoa Powder
-1/2 Cup of Cane Sugar
-1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
-1/3 Cup of Coconut Oil (Melted)
-3/4 Cup of Unsweetened Almond Milk
-1 Teaspoon of Apple Cider Vinegar
-1/4 Cup of Strong, Brewed Coffee (I used Epsresso)
-1 Teaspoon of Bicarbonate of Soda
-1/2 Teaspoon of Baking powder
-Pinch of Salt
-1/2 Cup of Apple Sauce
...

Step 1- Make the Apple Sauce.
-1 Apple
-3 Tablespoons of Water
-Teaspoon of Maple Syrup
-1 Teaspoon of Ground Cinnamon
Peel, Core then Chop the Apple and place into a Saucepan, along with the Water, Maple Syrup & Cinnamon onto a Low heat until the Apple is soft enough to Mash. This should only take around 10 minutes.

Step 2- Pre-heat your Oven to 180degrees, Gas Mark 4 and Line a Cake Tin with Grease Proof Paper, making sure to grease the edges of the Tin...as we don't want the Cake to stick!
Step 3- Mix the Almond Milk & Vinegar in a Large Mixing bowl and leave to activate for a few minutes.

Step 4- Next add the Coffee, Apple Sauce, Vanilla Extract and Oil into the Large Mixing bowl, along with the Milk & Vinegar and stir together.
Step 5- Add the Flour, Sugar, Cocoa Powder, Bicarbonate of Soda, Baking Powder and Salt into a Sieve and gradually Sift the Dry ingredients into the Wet Ingredients, mixing with a hand Held Whisk or Wooden Spoon.

Step 6- Mix everything together until its creamy and fully combined. If you mixture is too thick, you can add some extra Almond Milk.

Step 7- Pour your chocolaty mixture into the Prepared Cake Tin and tap the tin on the surface to remove any Air Bubbles.
Pop into the Middle of your Pre-heated Oven and leave to bake for around 20 minutes.

Step 8- After 20 minutes, check your Cake to see if it has fully Cooked by testing it using a Skewer of Knife.
Remove the Cake from the Oven and place onto a Cooling Rack.

Step 9- Whilst the Cake is cooling, gently press a Star Cookie Cutter into the Cake then place the Cake Star onto a Plate ready to decorate.

I sliced my Star in half, lengthways and spread some Strawberry Jam which i thought would complement the Rich, Chocolate Cake. I then sandwiched the Star back together and covered it in Pink, Fondant Icing...which i picked up at my local Supermarket!
As the Lush Magic Wand Bubble Bar is sparkly, i decided to give my cake star some shine with some silver edible glitter spray. I then added a cake pop stick and some silver decoration.
I am really pleased how this turned out.
It has been a challenge, but i think it looks good alongside the Magic Wand.
There was a lot of cake left so i have kept it in a sealed container and i am sure it won't last long.
